The Puig Z-Racing screen for the Yamaha YZF-R1 2020-2025 and YZF-R1 Race 2024-2026 pairs a sporty carbon-look finish with improved aerodynamic protection for the rider. Its double-bubble shape directs airflow away from the helmet and upper torso.
Developed using virtual wind-tunnel analysis, it has two side channels that guide air outwards to reduce pressure on the shoulders. Compared with the original screen, the Z-Racing range delivers an average aerodynamic improvement of 12.7% when riding upright and up to 61% in a racing position.
