The transparent Puig Z-Racing screen is designed for the Yamaha YZF-R1 (2020-2025) and YZF-R1 Race (2024-2026). Its sporty shape is intended to improve rider comfort and wind protection compared with the original screen.

The double-bubble profile directs air away from the helmet and upper torso, while two side channels help reduce pressure on the shoulders. Puig assesses the design in a virtual wind tunnel and reports an average aerodynamic improvement of 12.7% when riding upright and up to 61% in a racing position, compared with the original screen.
