The SW-MOTECH gear lever for the BMW R 1200 GS LC (2012-2018) and R 1250 GS (2018-2024) lets you tailor the operating position to your needs. Its design improves ergonomics and helps you operate your bike’s gearshift securely.

• Stepless adjustment: the two-piece construction provides an adjustable distance of 86 to 146 mm between the toe peg and selector shaft, compared with 113 mm on the original lever.
• Material and surface protection: CNC-milled aluminium with a HART-COAT® treatment to protect the lever against scratches.
• Reversible toe peg: it can also be fitted rotated through 180 degrees to change its position.
• Folding mechanism: an integrated spring allows the toe peg to fold away, helping to protect against breakage in a fall.
• Optional contact area extension: the lever accepts an extension to increase the toe peg’s contact surface.
• Included components: one gear lever, fitting instructions and mounting hardware.
• Road use in Germany: national type approval (ABE) is not required for use on German roads.

When fitting the lever, bear in mind that the toe peg can only fold away in a fall when installed in the standard forward-facing position.
