SW-MOTECH upper crash bars for the BMW R 1200 GS 2012-2016 help protect the bike’s bodywork while complementing its lines. They are shaped for this motorcycle rather than being a universal fit.
The sandblasted, electropolished stainless steel retains its corrosion resistance even if the bars are damaged, unlike coated steel.
- Construction: stainless steel tubing with a 22 mm diameter.
- Fit: model-specific components for a precise fit.
- Installation: bolts to the original mounting points without drilling or attaching plates or clamps to the lower crash bars.
- Included: two upper crash bars, fitting instructions and mounting hardware.
- Lower bars: original SW-MOTECH or BMW lower crash bars are required and are not included.
These bars cannot be fitted with BMW LED headlights because they use the same mounting point.
