Puig Sparkly LED indicators in black replace your motorcycle’s original indicators and give it a fresh look. They provide a turn-signal function to show your intended changes of direction.
When switching from incandescent bulbs to LEDs, the lower current draw can change the flash rate with a bimetallic relay; an electronic relay should keep the rate unchanged.
- Construction: polypropylene body with a clear lens.
- Dimensions and weight: 138.43 x 45.12 mm and 70 g.
- Approval: E11-50R-001173; the manufacturer lists these indicators as approved for Spain’s ITV vehicle inspection.
- Resistor adjustment: fit one resistor in parallel on each side. Puig specifies reference 4298O when replacing all four indicators, or 5873O when replacing two, one per side. Wiring diagrams are supplied with the resistors, but using them prevents the hazard lights from working correctly on most models.
- Relay alternative: replace the relay with a suitable unit after checking its location and pin count; this usually preserves hazard-light operation. Replacement is not possible without a dedicated indicator relay, and changing just one may not resolve the issue if several relays are involved.
- Specific requirement: the Kawasaki Z900/SE 2025 requires resistor set 22607O.
Check the flash rate after installation. If the LEDs were connected with the power on, turn the ignition off and back on before operating the indicators to check their actual flash rate.
