- They can be mounted on handlebars with an inner diameter of 13 to 18 mm without the need for an adapter, although specific adapters are available for motorcycles that require them, as well as a matching clutch-side bar end to unify the look.
- For bikes that do not need a dedicated adapter, it is necessary to remove the internal mounting mechanism of the stock bar end. These protectors are not compatible with bar ends or rearview mirrors mounted using the same system.
- Puig has developed its lever protectors to work properly with its own levers. However, compatibility with OEM levers for each motorcycle model is not guaranteed.
